Come see Treasure Island’s beach come to life at the 2023 Sanding Ovations Master’s Cup. See what happens when master sculptors use their imaginations and turn piles of sand and buckets of water into “outSANDing” works of art. There is plenty of room to spread out at the beach food court, beer garden and arts and crafts marketplace. Sanding Ovations ” is a must-see experience in beautiful Treasure Island.

After hotel check-in it’s off to an upscale dinner aboard Starlight Cruises sit down dinner. Resort casual to dressy casual attire is recommended for our family-friendly evening cruises. Menu options to be announced.

Day two takes us to the Florida Aquarium in the Channelside area of downtown Tampa. From their iconic 80-foot-glass dome in the Wetlands to the 500,000-gallon Coral Reef habitat with a gorgeous panoramic window and awe-inspiring views of sea life, there is a lot to explore during your visit.

After the Aquarium grab lunch on your own at Armature Works in Seminole Heights and on the ever expanding Downtown Riverwalk. Armature Works is a fully restored mixed-use building that breathes new life into the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood. With its unobstructed view of the Hillsborough River, the historic structure has been reinvented as a premier community destination with innovative eateries, Heights Public Market and reimagined event spaces.

Our last stop is the Tampa Bay History Center. Exhibits include coverage of the Tampa area’s first native inhabitants, Spanish conquistadors, and historical figures who shaped the area’s history, as well as a reproduction of a 1920s cigar store. This is a rich historical experience not to be missed!
